Courts: OpenStreetMap
Courts and their coordinates come from OpenStreetMap, under the Open Database License. Every venue page links the exact OSM object it was imported from, so anyone can check or correct it at the source.
OnSand is a beach volleyball app and an open directory of the German scene. It answers two questions a player actually has: where can I play, and who is playing today.
It is built and operated in Berlin by a small company, not by a federation or a sports association. That matters for reading this site: we describe the scene, we do not govern it.
A player opens the app to find a free court nearby, join an open game, or see which tournament is coming up in their region. Clubs use it to run their own groups. The public pages on this site are the same data, open to anyone without an account.
Most of what this site shows is not ours. It is public data, cited back to its origin on the page that uses it.

Tournaments and rankings come from the DVV and its Landesverbände, through their published SAMS listings. Each tournament links its federation record; each ranking names the federation it belongs to and the date it was last synced.
Open games, clubs and player profiles are created by the people using the app. We do not invent players, and we do not generate descriptions for places we have never had data about.
Something wrong on a page — a court that no longer exists, a wrong address, a result that does not match the federation's own list? Write to us and we will correct it.
