Account Deletion

You can delete your OnSand account directly in the app: open OnSand, go to Settings, scroll to Danger Zone, tap Delete Account, and confirm the deletion.

If you no longer have access to the app, send an email from the email address linked to your OnSand account to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my OnSand account". Include your OnSand username or profile name if available. We may ask for verification before processing the request.

We delete or anonymise personal account data linked to your OnSand account, including your email address, display name, username, phone number, profile text, city, birthday, profile images, authentication link, friend connections, friend requests, blocked-player relationships, game invites, future game participation, ratings, XP, achievements, streaks, activity records, notification preferences, device tokens, and search index entries.

Upcoming games hosted by your account may be cancelled, and you are removed from future games, club memberships, training groups, RSVP lists, and similar user-owned records.

Some records are retained when deletion would affect other users, security, or legal obligations. Chat rooms, chat messages, authored community content, historical game records, audit logs, and aggregated or anonymised statistics may remain visible under the generic name "Deleted User" without account identifiers.

Financial and accounting records, such as invoices, payments, bookings, and related tax records, are retained for the legally required period, generally up to 10 years under German accounting and tax rules.

In-app deletion starts immediately. Email requests are reviewed and processed after verification. Personal account data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days unless legal retention obligations require us to keep specific records longer.

When the deletion is complete, the account cannot be restored and you cannot sign in with that account again.
