Product updates, new features, and improvements to OnSand: what changed in the beach volleyball app, release by release, with notes on each update.
Claim your federation profile and OnSand takes skill and rating from the ranking. A pending result can be retracted or counted as a draw, and the venue page lists who regularly plays there.
Trainer clubs are now academies, you can see your rating at a glance and reset it once, training groups fill via search or a link, and pickup sessions are scored round by round.
Verified conversations take photos, blocking closes the chat for both sides with undo, and the app icon badges unread messages.
Discover cross-fades between categories, popular games carry a cover, and the empty state is clearer when nothing is on.
Open sessions at bookable venues show up in the game feed with live booking state, courts on the map have new pins with a verification colour, and old app versions are guided to update.
The club calendar shows month, week, and day, events are created by dragging on the grid, members enter their availability, and event invites arrive as push.
The waitlist is history: OnSand is available for iPhone and Android in the stores now. Plus skill gates for games, chat moderation, and email invites.
Every city has its own page with courts and clubs, the court map shows more than 30,000 courts clustered, games export to your calendar, and clubs run their own training groups.
A light, warm design with floating cards. Discover scrolls continuously, games and groups get card heroes, and cities get their own photos.
Chat now lives inside game detail, hosts have their own settings screen, game edits are targeted, and achievements announce themselves by push.
A glass hero with a weekly HUD, player profiles as bento cards, a reworked skill system with rank art, new achievements, and a QR code to share your profile.
An onboarding wizard with an email code, phone verification on your first game, Apple and Google maps in the app, and creating or joining games right in the browser.
The Discover tab spotlights the best game, club admins manage everything from the app, reminders follow your own schedule with quiet hours, and replacement lists cover for no-shows.
React to messages, follow a running match live, earn XP for diary entries, and claim your DVV athlete profile.
Clubs get a dedicated hub with a news feed and leaderboard, the skill system grows to six tiers, and navigation moves to a liquid-glass dock.
OnSand now shows free slots at bookable beach venues, alerts you when a court opens up, and lets you add your own spots.
1:1 messaging, squad session reminders with their own push settings, banners on your profile, and a new welcome screen with social login.
Places are now organized by city, you can add players as friends, and communities get roles with real permissions.
Game creation got a full rebuild - split by game type, with a court picker, court bookings, cost splitting, and a visibility toggle.
